Team Aviators International is the official Aeromodelling team of VIT Chennai, that focuses on introducing new innovations in the fields of UAV designing and manufacturing. The team consists of enthusiastic engineers pursuing new opportunities by exploring the world of aircrafts and drones. Proven to be one of the most prominent teams with the success of OREL (fully autonomous terrain-following drone), our first model, which bagged 1st prize in TATA Makerthon UAV Challenge 2017, followed by a Micro Class Aircraft which bagged 3rd position in Innovation Challenge Category of SAE Aero Design Challenge 2019. Our other notable projects include Micro class Aircraft 2018, Micro class Aircraft 2019, Regular class Aircraft 2019, Social Distancing Surveillance Drone and Micro class Aircraft 2020.
