One Heart is a not-for-profit foundation that was established in 2007 out of Australia and working in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. One Heart’s primary focus is to change the future of vulnerable and abused children living in poverty in East Africa, and in turn see whole communities transformed through education, leadership, empowerment and most importantly – love. All our initiatives in Kenya are designed to break the aid-dependence cycle so recipients no longer have to rely on hand outs…so they can stand on their own two feet and walk into their future with dignity and confidence, free from poverty, persecution, fear and oppression and have the resources to raise the next generation.
