Nine Star Education & Employment Services is dedicated to developing Alaska’s workforce through quality education surrounding literacy, job readiness, and professional development. Working with youth, adults, and senior citizens, Nine Star extends opportunities for the Anchorage community to excel and grow. These programs equip clients with the skills necessary to get a job, keep a job and advance on the job. Nine Star Education & Employment Services is chartered by the State of Alaska and operates as a not-for-profit corporation with a community service orientation. It offers a wide array of educational and training programs as well as organizational development and technical services locally and statewide. Its educational and training programs are specially designed to prepare clients for success in the workplace. Adult education classes, computer instruction, and work readiness workshops are some of Nine Star’s primary programs. Staffed by experienced and enthusiastic employees, Nine Star offers clients and students knowledge and support to assist them in reaching their program goals.
