Yoga Sol is an innovative yoga studio committed to making yoga accessible to all by offering classes on a pay-what-you-can basis. The studio has a vibrant team of more than 30 teachers and offers more than 30 yoga classes per week. Yoga Sol is funded entirely by student donations and provides an alternative to corporate studios where cost can be significant barrier to practicing yoga. Yoga is a $27 billion industry and in Minneapolis, rates run as high as $20 per class. At Yoga Sol you pay what you can, because we believe in getting back to the basics of what yoga is all about: the collective spirit. The studio opened its doors on May 1, 2012 and is connected to a larger movement of donation-based studios across the country.
