Your Life More Life (YLML) is a Community Interest Company that was set up in direct response to the violence on our streets. We are a community-led organisation that works on a grassroots level to deliver relatable support and positive opportunities to marginalised young people. With us, there is no ‘hard-to-reach’; our unique wrap-around support approach allows us to build authentic, trusting relationships. We believe in rehabilitation and the power to change as we actively support our young people in a holistic way. We are powered by community and leading from the streets - our Healing Justice model works at the intersection of individual healing and empowerment and collective change. All of the programmes we have co-designed work to address the effects of violence and poverty to pioneer a movement that grows young people in Newham from surviving to thriving through intensive support, community connection, skill building, and opportunity. Through this empowerment, we use our voices to speak our truth to power to demand the real changes needed to address the recurring violence.
