The Software Sustainability Institute is a national facility for building better software. We help researchers to introduce software into their research or improve the software they already use. Our vision is to create a world where software is treated as a first-class citizen and is sustainable, meaning the software you use today will be available - and continue to be improved and supported - in the future. Better software, better research. We're funded by the UKRI and are based at the Universities of Edinburgh, Manchester, Oxford and Southampton.
