Sirindhorn School was established in 1935. The previous school name was “Satrisurin school” under the name management with Surawittayakarn School. In 1936, the school was separated from Surawittayakarn school. In 1939, the school moved to the location behind the provincial hall. Later in 1944, the school transferred to the current site called “Nong Yao” on Tessaban 1 Road area of approximately over 26 rais. On the 1st August 1963, His Majesty King Bhumipol Adulyadej kindly renamed the school “Sirindhorn School” after the name of Her Royal Hishness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. On 27 October 2003, our school has been reformed, changed to wark with office of the basic Education up to now. Sirindhorn School provides secondary levels from Matthayom 1-6 (equivalent to grades 7-12). Students in Matthayom 1-3 are all girls except for the special program such as AP, SME, and EP. Students in Matthayom 4-6 are in the co-educational environments.
