Kita Therapy is a speech pathology and music therapy clinic located in Mascot. We are committed in delivering evidence based, person centered services to individuals of all ages and abilities. We provide sessions in English, Chinese and Bahasa in our clinic. We also offer home visits and telehealth (online therapy). Through tapping into the individual’s strengths, we have a special interest in combining areas of music therapy and speech therapy to promote achievement of meaningful goals. “The knowledge that musical properties are inherent in communication with babies before they use words helps explain why music provides a natural platform for connecting with people unable to use language – for example, people with acquired brain injury.” Kita Therapy has a special interest in tapping into music’s unique ability to help build therapeutic relationship and help the individuals express feelings, without words.
