Mission Statement The mission of the University of Arizona’s Writing Skills Improvement Program (WSIP) is four-fold: 1.To provide superior training, mentoring, and guidance to all undergraduate and graduate University of Arizona students, faculty, and staff to improve their academic, professional, and personal writing abilities. 2.To serve as a community resource for high-school students and middle- and high-school teachers, providing tools to improve their writing and critical thinking skills. 3.To build general confidence and overall academic competence in our participants no matter their linguistic, cultural, or socio-economic backgrounds. 4.To offer professional editing services.
