The Edmonton and Area Land Trust is a non-profit regional land trust. We are dedicated to conserving natural environments in Edmonton and the surrounding areas. We do this to benefit the wildlife and their habitat; to maintain the economic, health, and community benefits of natural areas; and to enhance residents' quality of life. EALT works to protect land permanently. We do this in three ways: - land acquisition through donation - conservation easements - education and stewardship. EALT works in partnership with governments and other non-profit organizations to achieve our goals. We also work with volunteers, communities, schools, and individual landowners to enhance habitat protection - making everyone part of the solution!
