Backbone Power Systems is a transmission and distribution contractor, specializing in medium to high voltage construction and maintenance. Other services provided include Emergency/Storm response, overhead/live line construction, underground/URD construction, fault location and repair, and alternative power sources, such as wind and solar. North American Utility Solutions is our Fiber Optic Installation arm of the company. We specialize mainly in underground and overhead installation, along with complementary services such as double wood pole transfers and removal, fiber splicing, pole setting, and ADSS. Our driving motivators are safety, compliance, and performance. We were created to meet the growing demand of power transmission and distribution, as well as fiber optic installation and related services in the Midwest, with a concentration in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
