I established Great Expectations in late 2012, the first company dedicated to this niche area of business coaching. It has been a delight to experience the uptake of this service by forward-thinking firms, as a vital element of their broader gender and diversity strategy. I believe that women CAN carve out a fulfilling life that encompasses challenging work and the blessings of a rich and rewarding home as life-partner and parent. I draw on a depth of personal experience having successfully managed this ultimate plate-balancing act, with a 36-year marriage, and two beautiful, accomplished, well-grounded daughters as the fruit! Looking back, life was often out of balance, but that’s where we learn and grow. Sharing, dare I say it, the wisdom of my experience to inspire other women to challenge their comfort zone, is what I love to do. It’s wonderful to be able to make a difference in their lives, and in the greater corporate community of our continent.
