Tokyo Orientations was founded in 1983 to assist expatriate families in their move to Japan. We recognize that such a move presents unique challenges to an individual/family; that cultural and linguistic barriers can intensify a family's sense of dislocation and undermine a successful assignment. Many relocation support services address the logistical problems of housing and schools, but they cannot bring the expatriate perspective unique to our staff.
