Since 2004 Learn About have been taking learning into local communities to engage with those furthest from the labour market. Our mission is to make a difference by helping people raise and realise their aspirations through providing outstanding learning programmes. In October 2006 Learn About were inspected by Estyn as part of ACT who were awarded the highest ever grades by the inspectorate for a work based learning provider - eight Grade 1's and one Grade 2. We were praised for the quality of our provision and the passion for learning that our staff showed in all aspects of their work. In particular, Learn About were praised for our work in supporting NEET's, lone parents and the homeless. We were also praised for providing a high standard of learning within local-community based centres across South East Wales.
