We are Blue21, a global leader in the design, technology and realization of floating projects with a positive impact. Our mission: to provide floating city technology to hundreds of millions of people who are impacted by climate change and sealevel rise. This needs to happen during this century while achieving positive ecological and social impacts. We have the largest open-source knowledge base on floating solutions in the world. At Blue21 a unique collaboration has been established between architects, urban designers, water managers, civil engineers and maritime engineers. A strong link to governance, legal and social expertise is made through the Thinktank Governance of Floating Cities. Blue21 is a ‘one stop shop’ for floating urban developments and projects. We can be involved from the very first brainstorm right through to the actual building phase. We have an international client base. This includes USA, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and various countries from Europe. Through our first company DeltaSync, our team had been involved in the design, engineering and realization of iconic floating projects such as the Floating Pavilion Rotterdam, and Floating Ecohomes, Harnaschpolder Delft, the Netherlands. More recently, the INNOZOWA floating solar project was added to this list.
