We have extensive experience in applying our knowledge and expertise in areas of seismic hazard, geology, geotechnical engineering, monitoring solutions and services. We pride ourselves at delivering quality products and solutions to our customers. Seismologist, Vicki-Ann Dimas has extensive experience in seismic hazard for both local (Australian studies) and international (primarily in south-east Asia, the Pacific region and Africa) where she has completed numerous seismic hazard assessments for large critical engineered structures. She has presented at numerous conferences, both nationally and internationally, including ANCOLD, ICOLD, AEES, ASC and SLAICE. She is currently undertaking her PhD at RMIT University and endeavours to produce a new attenuation function for South Australia that will be used in future seismic hazard studies. OzRocks is a specialist seismic hazard consultancy established in 2016 with head-office in Melbourne. The OzRocks team has successfully completed a growing number of projects in Australasia. The completed projects include water storage, tall buildings, critical facilities, airports, mining, oil & gas, land development, commercial buildings, road and water infrastructures, and mining projects. The core business is providing engineering services to mining companies, engineering consultants, local and state governments and authorities, builders, contractors, and architects. At OzRocks, we listen. Our aim is to know more about the customers’ needs and requirements. We think long term – in finding the best way to optimize the client’s assets over the life of the project.
