Here at Field Gate Flowers, we specialise in growing and delivering locally grown flowers. Any flowers we cannot grow ourselves in the winter months are sourced from other British flower growers. Our firm belief is that flowers should be freshly hand-picked each morning and reach you the same day in perfect condition. We love:- We love the fact that produce is organic, as we don’t believe in using chemicals (Roz did a degree in Environmental Science….and is against treating anything with chemicals and pesticides). Seasonality. We love the seasons and it is one of the beauties of living in Great Britain. We are blessed with so many different varieties of flowers each season. Peat free compost. Peat is extracted far faster that it’s being replaced - it is not a renewable resource in our lifetime and wildlife depend on it – we don’t need to use it. Bees and Insects. We hope to add bee –keeping to our list this year. Watch out for the honey. Buying locally to support the local communities. Charity – we are supporters in the communities in which we live and will be donating 20% of our profits to local charities.
