Cascades Estate is a small family business on beautiful Waiheke Island, in New Zealand's Hauraki Gulf. Neighbouring Whakanewha Regional Park, we are named after the Cascades Waterfall near the top of our drive. We lovingly care for an olive grove with around 240 trees - many of which our children have individually named. Our extended family, and close friends, help harvest the olives each year, and they are pressed (literally) down the road within 48 hours. Our oil is available to purchase online at www.cascadesestate.co.nz or from exclusive outlets, such as Batch Winery - conveniently located at the top of our drive ;-) We also offer 'off the grid' accommodation. We built, and rent out, a cute, clean, solar-powered cabin. As well as getting a 'green tick' for the biodegradable loo, the sun also powers a charger for your phone or device (if you really need it!).
