VFA Land and Sea BV is a sister company of VFA Solutions BV and was established to provide sales and engineering services for specialised market segments such as the super yacht industry and luxury residences. Our mission is to provide clean air solutions to these markets and the idea was established in 2018 when Will Faimatea and Patrick Voorn discovered that most (Heating Ventilation Air Conditions) HVAC system specifications focused only on temperature and lacked any specifics on air quality. “When Patrick and I looked further into the HVAC sector in 2018 we felt that clean air solutions would benefit all people” says Will Faimatea. Together with the VFA Solutions founder Eliane Khoury, VFA Land and Sea was borne in 2019 to provide clean air to luxury marine and residential markets. Since COVID-19 the VFA products have been highly sought after for greatly improving air quality. The products have been supported by The Prince of The Netherlands and awarded a grant to help reduce the spread of Covid-19. This includes fine dust particles as well as pathogens ( virus, bacteria, fungi, protozoa ). Exposure to Fine Dust can have detrimental health effects and has been known to lead to coughing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, irritation of the eyes/nose/throat, and can trigger asthma, bronchitis, and other respiratory problems. Scientific studies have also linked exposure to an increased risk for heart attack, stroke, certain cancers, and birth defects. Fine dust is especially dangerous for people with heart and lung diseases, older adults, and children, but it has also been proven to affect healthy people. So it’s more than just filtering bacteria and viruses.
