Growing up, my mother would always say, when you have a baby, I hope you have a daughter who acts just like you! Typically, she said this as we fought over clothes, curfews and cooking. I was her personality clone, which was both good and bad! Years later, I did just that--I gave birth to my mini-me. And every time she says something with sass, I smile and cringe simultaneously, finally knowing what my mother meant. But oh the joys of raising a little girl!
