His career began in the printing in 1976 with Austrian Machine Corporation as an apprentice machinist specializing in rebuilding and installing web press equipment throughout the United States. In 1982 Patrick joined the staff at W.F. Hall Printing Company of Georgia. To start up the new printing company that consisted of a fourteen-acre printing facility that consisted of six new Albert Franklenthal gravure printing press lines and two Harris 72 pocket-gathering lines that produced large format catalogs. In 1985, he founded Leonard Enterprises, an independent service organization that specialized in repairing, relocating and installing sheet fed and bindery equipment worldwide. In 1999 as the company grew he began purchasing and remarketing pre-owned printing equipment and reconditioned used Heidelberg Digital Presses. In 2003 Patrick formed a new partnership that was named Advanced Print Technologies with two other industry veterans. This company incorporated all of Leonard Enterprises previous employees. Patrick was named Vice-president and Managing Partner of APT. In 2008, after five successful years of growth, Patrick decided to sell his partnership at APT and return to Leonard Enterprises. Patrick desired a “hands-on” approach to interact on a more personal level with his customers. Today his thirty six years of experience in the printing industry has enabled him to lead Leonard Enterprises to be a supplier of quality pre-owned printing equipment and parts with sales both nationally and internationally. His company now specializes in reconditioned digital offset presses and parts, while maintaining its traditional commitment to repairing, remarketing and installing all types of printing equipment worldwide.
