STORE HISTORY The store was founded in 1946, by Stephen Zangrillo ('Mr. Z') who had a dream of creating a store where every person who walked through its doors could be assured true customer service and a fantastic shopping experience. It is a mission that holds true to this day, over 70 years later, under the leadership of Gina Zangrillo, Mr. Z's daughter. The shop continues to provide this same high level of service and warm reception — the signature of a locally-owned, family-run business - and is passionately involved in a wide range of community and philanthropic endeavors.
