Healthcare touches all of us. To some, it is a calling to save or sustain the lives of others. To many, it is a service they receive to improve their lives. To those who work in the industry, it is a chance to do good in the society while doing great work in a fascinating domain. As an industry, healthcare is full of complex relationships and issues ranging from new technology adoption to cost controls in the face of an aging population and higher drug prices. We believe that many young professionals could find their niche in healthcare. Our purpose is to connect the talent pool at the Schulich School of Business to the issues and opportunities in our healthcare system. We intend to serve the Schulich community. If done well, students will gain industry insights while volunteers will build connections with future leaders and allies.
