Curtin Aerospace Club is a young and highly active student group, part of the Curtin University Student Guild, dedicated to connecting students to the aerospace industry and passing on industry knowledge. We have several cutting-edge projects in aerospace engineering and bring STEM outreach to the local community. The club aims to design, build and launch a single-stage, high powered rocket that will compete in the 2020 Australian Universities Rocket Competition. The rocket will use a commercial-off-the-shelf solid fuel motor and will fly to 10 000 ft. A 2kg payload will also be designed for the launch vehicle and entered into the additional payload challenges listed by the AURC
