The 93% Club Lancaster
The 93% Club Lancaster is a sister-branch of the original 93% Club Bristol founded at the University of Bristol in 2016 by Sophie Pender. It has since grown and can now be found at over a dozen of the top UK universities. The main aims of The 93% Club are to: Acknowledge the inherent differences of experience between groups of students Improve social mobility by enabling state-educated students to enter professional employment Partake in outreach work to show students from low-income backgrounds that entry to top UK universities is possible.
