Teacher by day and maker by night - my name is Nick Taluzek and I am The Odd Artisan. It always seems weird to describe myself as a "maker" which is such an ambiguous term but I have yet to find something that fits better. I am not just an inventor. I am not just a designer. I am not just an artist. I am a maker. Why the "odd" artisan? Well...my work does not focus on any specific area. Bouncing around between so many different crafts and interests can be considered "odd," right? Current offerings for custom design work: 3D printing (FDM and SLA/DLP), 3D CAD, and woodworking (specialization in wood turning)
