S.J. Fleck at an early age was in love with film, media and audio. He received a degree in Cinema and Broadcasting with a minor in Art Photography in 2003. He has watched over 10,000 films / television shows and is an expert on the subjects of Art, Music, Film, History, and more. He refuses to be assimilated into the mainstream and has a love for the underground. He was born in and grew up just outside the city limits of Detroit, Michigan, USA. Has been an underground artist, DJ and Musician that makes short independent art films and also does live visuals that often include cinematic effects. Born in 1979, and living outside of Detroit, he was influenced by all sorts of avant garde film, including silent, blaxploitation, slasher, horror, indie, sci-fi, film noir, french new wave, punk, MTV / Music Videos, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's Indie, and so on.
