GalSTEM is a DCU society that aims to bridge the gender gap in STEM. Our goals are: - To bring together women and nonbinary people studying or interested in science, technology & tech entrepreneurship, engineering and maths subjects. - To create friendship, fun, support (through leadership training, workshops and mentorships), networking (through both the student body and technology and science sectors) and events. - To create a platform of advocacy and promotion of women, POC and minorities in STEM - both inside and outside of DCU. - To encourage more women and minorities to choose and stick with STEM education and careers.
