Niagara Power Baseball has been a part of the Niagara Falls, NY community since 2009. In 2018, Niagara University, with the support of several local community members and organizations will reestablish itself, playing out of the Sal Maglie stadium in Hyde Park. The College of Hospitality and Tourism, of Niagara University, will operating the baseball program in its entirety with assistance from the Sports Management faculty and interns. The Niagara Power Intern Program will be made up nearly 25 interns on an annual basis. Internship opportunities range from marketing, social media, ticket sales, corporate sales, promotions, game day activities, concessions, public address announcements, sports information, website development and much more. The Niagara Power is a member of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. The NYCBL is a summer baseball program especially designed for college athletes that strive to further their career in baseball. This program gives these athletes the opportunity to play wooden bat baseball, extend their season and training, be observed by professional scouts, and to remain in baseball condition through the summer.
