UID Climate group is lead by a few activists within Umeå Institute of Design. They regularly create and share resources such as hosting guest lectures, workshops, and propellers changes in the school's educational plan to inspire students and staff to think and create sustainable design. The initiative is also behind the Golden Seed Award, which moderates and together with sponsors distributes an award for degree projects with a high level of implemented sustainability thinking.
