Founded by Michael McKay, BLACK MASS began as a monthly alternative drag, burlesque, and alternative performance showcase. Now, the brand is growing with the addition of Fembot, a monthly queer dance party and drag show hybrid, as well as several other pop-up productions throughout Cleveland's West side. BLACK MASS is a collective of local entertainers who use drag, makeup, special effects, dance, and art to tell unique, funny, and thought-provoking stories. BLACK MASS productions market to not only the LGBTQA+ community, but the underground music scene, the punk community, and anyone looking for a fun night out.
