Vietnam Youth Action for Choice (VYAC) is a diverse and inclusive network of young people in Vietnam who are actively involved in advancing the empowerment and rights of women, children, young people and marginalized groups in Vietnam and the Asian region. VYAC is committed to raising awareness and promoting universal respect for human rights-based choices related health including sexual and reproductive health, well-being, security and safety, and equality and equity for all. In September 2016, VYAC was officially introduced to promote Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for young people, especially those of young women and girls in Vietnam to access safe and friendly abortion services. Our priorities include: (1) providing evidence-based information on SRHR and other related issues for young people through community campaign, Facebook’s fan pages and community events using a peer education model; (2) Advocating appropriate policies for young people related to education, security and safety, health including SRH, and equality and equity.
