As a Lutheran congregation, Lamb of God is grace centered and Bible based. We believe Jesus, the Lord of Life and Savior of the World, is the hope of humanity. We trust that a person is saved by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus. We believe that there is one God, but in three distinct Persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (the Trinity). We administer the Sacraments, Baptism and Holy Communion, as gifts from our Lord to the Church. We acknowledge that the Bible has two main purposes – to be close to Jesus and guide us in daily faith based living. FAQ Describe Lamb of God: Lamb of God has a family feel and conducts important service ministries in the Humble area. Love and unity are two important values for us. Everything we do and are is because God first loved us. As medium sized congregation, Lamb of God has a mission heart and is open to everyone. We are Christ centered, Bible based and mission focused. What time is worship? Our 8:00 am Sunday service carries a historic traditional style and our 10:30 am Sunday service offers a contemporary style. We do have special worship services throughout the year, often mid-week. What is worship like? Worship at Lamb of God is uplifting and meaningful. The message is Bible based and applicable to everyday life. Holy Communion is celebrated at most services. Welcoming and friendly, people leave the service refreshed and energized by God’s presence.
