James Berry is the founder of Berry & Associates, LLC. He has been practicing law since 1989. In the years prior, he not only served our Country but he received many degrees and awards from the surrounding Universities. Mr. Berry joined the Military in 1967. He also served our Country in Vietnam from 1967-1968. After leaving the Military, he began working at S.C.I. Systems in electrical engineering, which went on for 23+ years. While attending Jacksonville State University, he received his Bachelor’s degree in bio and physics. He subsequently obtained a Master’s in Business Administration. He then went on to obtain his law degree at the Birmingham School of Law. He was a member of the Sigma Delta Kappa Legal Fraternity from 1985 to 1989. He graduated in 1989 as Valedictorian of his class and was awarded the Key and Sanders Awards. Currently, he has been practicing law for 28 years and is well established within the community. Mr. Berry can practice in the Alabama Court System as well as the Federal Court System. Allen Jolley has been practicing law at Berry & Associates, LLC. since 2015. Before becoming an Attorney, Mr. Jolley was a history teacher at Munford from 2006-2007, Snead State from 2006 to 2007, and Hoover from 2009-2011. In 2008 he began Law School at the Birmingham School of Law where he graduated in 2012 and began practicing at Berry & Associates, LLC. Mr. Jolley is well established within the community. Mr. Jolley can practice in the Alabama Court System as well as the City Court Systems in Marshall and surrounding counties. Rachel Syx is a graduate of Jones School of Law where she obtained her Juris Doctorate and Master of Laws in Dispute Resolution. Prior to joining Berry & Associates in 2018, Rachel worked as a legal assistant as she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Communications at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Rachel served as the president and board member of the Marshall County Guardianship Program (GAP) and works closely with them by helping Marshall County citizens in need of a guardian find a volunteer guardian. Rachel looks forward to helping people in her community and surrounding communities with their legal needs. Ms. Syx is licensed to practice in Alabama.
