Trigonal was created at the start of the pandemic when all of the world’s art galleries had closed and fine artists' livelihoods were significantly impacted. In March of 2021, the artist Beeple sold his NFT collection “Everydays: The First 5,000 Days” for a record $69 Million dollars. It was at that point, the owner of Trigonal Jonathan Goodman, pivoted the company to include NFTs; creating an account on OpenSea and working with fine artists to incorporate NFTs into their offerings. Jonathan, an active soccer enthusiast, befriended professional French soccer player Florian Valot as he recovered from a major injury. The two quickly realized they had a common affinity for art and a unique interest in NFTs. Together they began investing their time and money in blockchain projects. Their love for the industry inspired them to create a visual podcast where they interview project founders and update their audience on the latest news and innovation within the space. Their cultural differences, background and area of expertise have led them to create the Trigonal website, a platform dedicated to art, sport and culture.
