The Surgical Society Uppsala (Swedish: Kirurgiska Föreningen Uppsala, KFU) was founded in 2019, and aims to be a platform for students at Uppsala University, with an interest for the surgical profession. The association links practicing surgeons and students. Through lectures and workshops, students get the opportunity to develop their surgical skills already during their college years.
