Black Dog Brigade is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to animal advocacy and being a voice for the voiceless. We advocate for animals in shelters; especially those that are heartworm positive, pit bulls, seniors and have black fur. We believe every dog deserves a second chance in a forever home regardless of color, age, breed and history. We are actively working to bring change to animal cruelty laws in North Carolina, change BSL legislation, putting a stop to backyard breeding and bringing awareness to the dire state many shelters are in and the horrible living conditions many animals suffer in. As a member of RDU Animal Advocates, we are proud to be a voice for the voiceless!
