JBC Naturals
Did you know you can improve the health of your skin and hair without using harsh chemicals? JBC Naturals handcrafts family-friendly skin and hair care products with familiar ingredients. JBC Naturals is dedicated to sharing the healing properties of natural ingredients. It all started back in 2013 with our Founder, Carly Johnson when she went to Wheelock College in Boston, MA to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. You might be wandering, what business does a social worker have creating skin and hair care products? We know it sounds a little out of the ordinary for the expertise of a social worker for some, but our Founder has always been passionate about health, wellness, and supporting families. On a tight budget in College, Carly not only realized that the products in the store had ingredients she could not pronounce, but her curiosity gained momentum and led her to researching the benefits of natural ingredients she already knew of. To her surprise, those everyday ingredients did more for her hair than any other products she ever spent money on. In 2020, Carly gave birth to her son, who had eczema all over his body, creating an uneven skin tone along with itchiness. Unable to get treatment for her son's skin condition, Carly spent 1 year seeking remedies to improve his skin and his hair growth. After receiving transformative results for her own family, she wanted to share this with other families. Carly is passionate about Youth Development, Public Health and Maternal Health. Carly is also a devoted Breastfeeding Advocate and is currently training to become a Certified Lactation Counselor and Doula.
