Who are we? Created in 2018, the World Vision Ottawa Youth Council is a group of youth that is based in Ottawa and runs under the guidance of World Vision Canada What do we do? The council promotes youth engagement within the government and NGO fields to advocate for children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. We believe youth engagement and advocacy are necessary to build a fair and sustainable world. How do we do it? The council works to connect our passionate youth to our federal government by means of; engaging with Members of Parliament, organizing events, raising awareness for campaigns, educating and empowering youth to make a difference.
