Unveiled: Bridging The Gap to Sponsorship
When it comes to career advancement, sponsorship gets you from being overlooked to being seen. The more senior the role, the more critical the need for sponsorship. 'Unveiled: Bridging the Gap to Sponsorship' is a community network with the mission of helping underrepresented groups in corporate roles to identify and build sponsors in their respective networks and workplaces for their career advancement. We are embarking on a journey, based on research and driven by data, to provide practical actionable ways in which our members can break the cycle of historically marginalized groups being over-mentored and under-sponsored, which prevents them from making as much advancement to leadership roles as they could. We look forward to welcoming a small cohort of members in January 2023 where Phase 1 membership will focus on female-identifying and non-binary individuals in technology.
