When I started my leadership roles, I made it a point to meet everyone on my team, and get to know them, as a person. I wanted to know their dreams and aspirations. Then I wanted to know why they weren’t pursuing them. I got my staff’s buy- in by showing them their own potential. I lit the fuse for them. Showed them possibilities, and most importantly, I showed them they had support, and someone who believed in them. This is why I started Purple Growth Enterprise. For years, while working in healthcare, I have helped people transition careers, obtain roles they thought they were not qualified for, successfully overcome workplace challenges, and make action plans for their future. On a more personal and individual level, I have given many friends guidance on just about everything (I swear, nothing is weird to me at all LOL), and I have spread the word of my struggles and stories in any way I knew it would help people.
