SOCH is a welfare organization run by the students of Dow Medical College at Dr. Ruth K. M. Pfau, Civil Hospital, Karachi. With over 400 volunteers, SOCH focuses on gathering funds for the underprivileged and spreading awareness about sanitation to minimize infectious diseases in Karachi. Over the years, SOCH has worked to uplift 12 wards and HDUs at Civil Hospital (Karachi) and has conducted workshops to raise awareness regarding major issues our population faces, such as menstrual hygiene and prenatal care, debunked the myths and taboos surrounding medical practices in Pakistan.
