With a rich heritage over 160 years, Singer has always been an iconic corporate figure in Sri Lanka. Introduction of new initiatives with a keen focus on performance improvement had paved the way for Singer to become the forerunner in the consumer durables retail industry. Rotaract Club of Singer Sri Lanka being regarded as the first ever Corporate Rotaract Club is yet another proud initiation that would not only benefit the entire Singer family but also the community. The Rotaract Club of Singer Sri Lanka caters to a youth audience between the ages 18 to 30 and provides opportunity for ‘Self-Development-Fellowship through Community service’. The Charter Certification of the club took place on 1st May 2014 and Rotary Club of Colombo North acts as the sponsoring club of the Rotaract Club, and currently has over 60 members. The functioning of this club can be elaborated as a continuous training for the members through ‘Human Conditioning’. Subsequently all this is achieved by carrying out service projects spanning from Community Service to Environmental Conservation.
