defo labor is a creative team, project space and platform, meeting point and design laboratory where questions of culture and society are explored through design and art. The venue is run by defo labor, a group active in architecture, design and artistic research. defo labor is interested in the innovative values and social effects of creative work. In recent years defo labor has created and managed projects involving design strategy, creative communication and arts education, bringing together internationally recognized designers, local partners and the business community. defo labor as a studio is also active in commissioned and self-commissioned projects which make use of the infrastructure of the project space and the participants to develop and test product prototypes as well as design concepts and communication strategies.
