After the METU Radio Community was founded on February 16, 1994, its first mission, Radio, completed the transition to the broadcasting life of METU. After that day, our group's mission is to raise quality radio people in Turkiye. The METU Radio Group held the first "Applied Radio Broadcasting Lessons" in Turkiye. Radio Lessons, which started in the 1999-2000 academic year, bring Turkiye's leading radio broadcasters and members of the Radio Community together at METU. As a large university such as METU, the group that appeals to the most significant number of students, the Radio Society organizes entertaining and inclusive activities to contribute to the development of their social circles and to take an active role in social activities outside of school life: Our parties such as WhiteNight, ProbNight, Beyazıt Öztürk, Okan Being a guest on the Talk Show programs of celebrities, whom many people like Bayülgen closely follow, can be counted among these fusing activities. The radio community has so far been dedicated to Turkiye's distinguished radio and television people, created a bridge in the process of achieving its goals, and continues this mission. In the first semester of the academic year, we conduct radio lessons. The most successful names of the media world (such as Ayça Şen, Geveze, Modern Sabahlar Team, Zafer Kiraz, Hakan Tamar, Bülent Çaplı, Mehbare Çelik, Derya Kaya, Burak Can, Gamze Elgin) support the training of radio broadcaster candidates and make the radio world visible. In the second semester, candidates who want to take part in the world of Radio continue the Applied Radio Broadcasting Courses, and the process ends with demos.
