Cotha Krishniah Chetty started by selling coloured beads to the British residents of the then Cantonment in Bangalore. Later, the firm was commissioned to craft designs inspired in Great Britain. The British and Indian Armies then placed orders for Infantry gear, swords, breast plates and more. The Royal Houses placed running orders for their Palaces from life-size perambulators, turban ornaments, keys to monuments and buildings, jewellery, memontoes and regalia with the symbol of His Highness the Maharaja of Mysore. The Maharaja of Sandur,The Maharaja of Tranvancore, The Nizam of Hyderabad, The Nawab of Savanur, The Maharaja of Dhranghdhra and more were among the 20 erstwhile kingdoms as famous clients.The family operated and well-run private limited company today operates with a vision of being a highly respected jeweller providing consistent and legendary services to the clients.
