Manor Business Management
Manor Business Management is a newly formed company by myself, Leah Wallington, with over 20 years’ personal experience. My aim is to help small to medium, local businesses with all their bookkeeping and office management, freeing up time for them to do what they do best. There is so much stress that comes with having a business. Scheduling, purchasing, paying bills, doing the work, invoicing customers.........the list goes on and on. Bookkeeping and office management isn’t a stress you need to deal with, Manor Business Management is here to help.... One of the most common questions that I get asked is ‘how is a bookkeeper different from an accountant?’. And it is a very important question. I am a bookkeeper that also offers office management services as well. A bookkeeper is responsible for putting all the financial transactions for your business into your books, even though most books are now kept electronically on excel, or your own accountancy software. One business owner may want to do the invoicing themselves but needs someone to make sure that the bank accounts balance and that all the transactions are categorised properly. Another may want someone to do the quotations and invoicing for them as well, and perhaps be involved in the bill paying process. Some business owners want help with payroll or filing of VAT. These are all the things that I can help you with plus plenty more. I also have experience in web sales, HR, health and safety, advertising and setting up company procedures. Your accountant is the go-to person for all things tax-related. They also have the in-depth know-how to interpret your financial information and help you make wise decisions for your business. They can tell you want you need to make for estimated tax payments, what steps you can take to reduce you tax liability, how different things will affect your tax burden, and will usually be the one to actually file your taxes for you.
