ECRIDA - REXUS Programme

ECRIDA is a student project founded by students from the Politechnic University of Bucharest and the University of Bucharest with the aim of participating in Cycle 13 of the REXUS (Rocket EXperiments for University Students) / BEXUS (Balloon EXperiments for University Students) Programme. After the successful selection of our project, which consists of an experimental device to 3D print specific designed specimens with the help of resins and UV photons, at the beginning of winter 2019, a place on the REXUS 29 rocket's module has been allocated. The DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology can by the time our R&D in the field is fundamented, be extended beyond LEO (Low Earth Orbit). The launch of the experiment, which is intended to test and demonstrate the viability of our idea and vision in milligravity conditions created in the module at a point of the flight is planned for March 2021 from Esrange Space Center in Kiruna, Sweden. The REXUS / BEXUS Programme is performed under a bilateral agreement between DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt) and SNSA (Swedish National Space Agency) / ESA (European Space Agency). It allows students from universities and higher education colleges across Europe to carry out scientific and technological experiments on research rockets and balloons. Each year, two rockets and two baloons are launched. --> http://rexusbexus.net/ <--
