Freeport Transport Industries, Inc. was started in 1951, by Andy Smetanick. He started the company with a 1940's single axle dump truck. The company has since grown to a 70 power unit fleet with a variety of trailers. Those trailers include pneumatic dry bulk trailers, vac pneumatic dry bulk trailers, chemical liquid bulk trailers, aluminum flatbed trailers (48' x 102" and 53' x 102"), drop deck trailers, van trailers, and refrigerated van trailers. Freeport Transport Industries, Inc. hauls hazardous, hazardous waste, and non-hazardous materials in all forms. Freeport, PA is a small town located 30 minutes North of Pittsburgh, PA. The company is licensed for 48 states and Canada.
