Ultimately, we're storytellers and we LOVE to tell the stories of the products we taste. Our goal? To educate and empower our participants while learning about cocktails, wines and spirits, over Zoom, from the comforts of their own home. ✴️ MEET THE TEAM ✦JEFF- A typical college student, putting himself through school by working in restaurants, Jeff soon developed a love for wine. After working his way through NY’s fine-dining restaurant circuit, under Restaurateurs such as Lidia Bastianich, Danny Meyer and numerous Master Sommeliers, Jeff eventually decided to leave restaurant-life and invest in the thing that brought him the most fulfillment: Teaching. After meeting Kate in 2013, Jeff realized that his Sommelier approach to making cocktails was pretty unheard of and decided to explore this unique skill set. ✦KATE- Upon graduating at Kent State University, Kate moved to NYC for the Broadway Stage, in the summer of 2011. Between auditions and trying to make ends-meet, Kate, with her infectious personality and love for Whiskey, decided to “get behind the stick” and give bartending a try. With some incredible mentorship and a bit of hard work, Kate found herself working at Dante, the year they were named “Number One Bar in the World”. From there she has gone on to teach, empower, host seminars and currently holds 2nd place for NY’s 2019 Best Cocktail of The Year award.
